MS Dhoni Breaks Silence On Retirement, Says ‘People Wanted Him To Quit Before Sri Lanka Game’

India is set to play their last match of World Cup 2019 against Sri Lanka in Leeds on Today. Speculations about the future of veteran wicketkeeper MS Dhoni, who is playing his 4th World Cup, have been rife since the tournament started.

 

 

 

 

 

While some had predicted that he could be playing his last tournament, according to few other experts Dhoni would continue to play in even after the World Cup.

 

 

 

 

 

According to reports, a reporter claimed to have confronted Dhoni himself with the retirement question. Dhoni, in his inimitable style, was reported to have answered that he himself doesn’t know when he will retire.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“I don’t know when I will retire. But a lot of people want me to retire before today’s game,” Dhoni said in an interview.
