A Chartered Plane was on its test flight today when it crashed in Ghatkopar’s Sarvodaya Nagar in Mumbai. This incident killed 5 people when the Chartered Plane crashed onto a construction site called as Jagruti.

“Five people have succumbed to injuries after the chartered plane crashed, including one pilot, three co-passengers, and a pedestrian,” a Mumbai policeman told to AFP. The Aircraft belonged to Mumbai based Aviation company, UY Aviation Pvt Ltd owned by Dipak Kothari. The aircraft belonged to UP Government and was purchased by the company 2 years ago according to a source.
Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu tweeted
Saddened to hear the news about the aircraft crash in Mumbai.
Have directed DGCA to conduct an investigation into the plane crash at the earliest. I'm in constant touch with on ground developments.

India’s Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau said that they would conduct an investigation into the crash.
